HOW CAN I SEE THE CAMPAIGN PROGRESS?
Simply come to this page and you can see our progress banners, check your inbox for campaign updates, or check out our live banners in the lobby of both FWAFA and TeSA.
We’re rolling out these fun incentives for student participation at each school. Each week, the grade level with the highest participation will earn these prizes:
Week 1- Drawing for lunch for your favorite fine arts teacher from grade level with highest % participation
Week 2 - Grade level with highest % participation wins Steel City Pops Party
Week 3 - Drawings for cool gift cards for students in grade level with highest % participation
Week 4 - All grade levels with 100% participation by Friday, September 29, earn a PJ + Popcorn Party
Each family’s donation will be credited to each student at FWAFA and TeSA. To qualify for weekly student incentive prizes, donations must be received by each Friday at 10:00 am. Donations after that will be counted for the next week’s incentive! Also, after our final tallies, the grade level at each school with the highest amount in donations earns a special grand prize!
LEVEL UP ON NTGD!
On Thursday, September 14, we’ll participate in this community-wide giving event. New this year—you can schedule your gift from September 7-13 and your card won’t be charged until September 14. Simply log on to NorthTexasGivingDay.org and select Texas Center for Arts + Academics. Of course, these donations count toward our goal!

WHY AN ANNUAL FUND?
As public charter schools, FWAFA and TeSA receive $1,400 less per student in public funding compared to traditional public schools. This amounts to $1.3 million less each year—an increase of $200/student from last year. Now more than ever, your support can be transformational.
WHY 100% PARTICIPATION?
When we achieve 100%, we show our community our unity in supporting our students. Foundations and major donors consider this level of participation during the application process. In 2015, we received more than $150,000 in funding in part because of our families’ participation!
Help us meet our goal of $30,000 on North Texas Giving Day and we’ll receive $5,000 from our generous challenge grant sponsor, Designs for Living! Thank you to TCAA Board Chairman Melissa Goodroe and David Goodroe for committing these funds to support our programs.
